My personal spiritual journey began at my father’s knee – the quiet, mystical call leading me to where I am now. I have few answers, more questions and a sense of a journey well traveled and hoping that journey is far from over. I left home at a time when the world and our country were in great turmoil. It was the late 1960’s. My father made sure that I was well-schooled in the Civil Rights Movement, what vegetable or fruit we should boycott that week and the importance of speaking up about injustice in whatever form it took.

He was never overbearing or “preachy’ but simply shared what he was involved in with the warm-hearted enthusiasm of a man much younger than his years. He invited me to walk with him on his journey, but in no way insisted.

I am the daughter of a Methodist minister, a Mason and a mystic. While I am not a Mason, I believe the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree as I have just finished seminary at about the same age my father did and I aspire to live as he did …not asking anyone to join my tribe, because I still search for it, but walking along side with the joy of discovery, miracles and wonder as a daily practice.

Moving between different spiritualities and life paths that I have taken from musical theater to classical vocal performance, public speaking, teaching, entrepreneurship and weaving them all together to bring forth my current path, I invite you to come along with me.
